CURVECOMFORT® Care Guide

Thank you for choosing CURVECOMFORT® — where innovation meets relaxation.

To ensure your compression sofa remains as beautiful and functional as the day it arrived, please follow these care and maintenance guidelines.

General Cleaning & Maintenance

Regular Cleaning

  • Vacuum Weekly: Use a soft brush attachment to gently vacuum the entire surface, including cushions and crevices. This helps remove dust, dirt, and debris.

  • Fluff and Rotate Cushions: Periodically fluff and rotate the cushions to maintain even wear and preserve their shape.

Spot Cleaning

Fabric Upholstery

  • Use a mild upholstery cleaner or a mix of water and gentle dish soap.

  • Dampen a clean cloth and blot the affected area. Avoid rubbing, which can damage the fibers.

  • Allow to air dry completely before use.

Faux Leather or Leather Upholstery

  • Wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap solution.

  • Dry immediately with a soft cloth.

  • For genuine leather, apply leather conditioner every 6–12 months to maintain suppleness and prevent cracking.

Placement & Environment

Avoid Direct Sunlight

Extended exposure to sunlight can cause fading or material deterioration. Place your sofa away from direct sunlight or use curtains and blinds to limit exposure.

Keep Away from Heat Sources

Avoid positioning your sofa near radiators, heaters, or fireplaces. High temperatures can damage upholstery and affect the integrity of the compression structure.

Compression Mechanism Care

Weight Limits

Adhere to the recommended weight capacities for all parts of the sofa. Overloading may damage the internal components or compromise comfort.

Moving Components

If your sofa includes adjustable or foldable elements:

  • Inspect mechanical parts every few months.

  • Use a silicone-based lubricant on metal joints if needed.

  • Do not force any part that is stuck or stiff. Contact customer support for assistance.

Things to Avoid

  • Harsh cleaning chemicals or bleach

  • Abrasive cloths or scrubbers

  • Standing or jumping on the sofa

  • Dragging the sofa across the floor (always lift when moving)

Storage Guidelines (If Applicable)

If you need to store your sofa temporarily:

  • Choose a clean, dry indoor location.

  • Cover it with a breathable fabric cover to protect from dust and moisture.

  • Avoid placing heavy items on top of the sofa.
